- Arrive about 10-15 minutes early to sign a waiver form and we can help you get set up!
- Have fun and we look forward to seeing you!
- After class, stop by the front desk and speak with one of our Experiencer Experts to figure out which one of our memberships or packages works best for you!
If I’m a beginner or haven’t worked out in a long time, what class should I start with?

We’ll work with you as you listen to your body and work as hard as you can. Even if you’re doing 10% of an exercise, as long as it’s to 100% of your ability, you’ll receive 100% of the benefit and results.Clients are encouraged to take a minimum of 5 open-level classes before they enter an intermediate-level class. Clients are required to take a minimum of 5 intermediate-level classes before taking an advanced-level class.
What is DEFINE’s Late Cancel and No Show Policy?
Clients may pre-register for classes TWO WEEKS in advance. A PRE-CLASS REGISTRATION is only valid up until 2 minutes prior to the start of the class, at which point, any client waiting in the studio may enter. A LATE CANCEL occurs when canceling or switching classes WITHIN 2 HOURS of the original class start time. If a reservation is not cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy, you will be charged for that class or workshop. Clients with Auto-Renew and Monthly Memberships who do not cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy will be charged a $10 fee for a Late Cancel and $15 for a No Show. A front desk staff member does not have access to making changes within the 2 hour window and any disputes should be addressed to the studio’s email in regards to the ensuing fees.
If you are a client on our Auto-Renew program and would like to either cancel or pause your membership, all modifications to your Auto-renew must be done in writing by either emailing thewoodlands@DEFINEbody.com or sending a letter to 4747 Research Forest Drive, Suite 100, The Woodlands, TX 77381. The front desk staff at DEFINE is not permitted to cancel Auto-Renew memberships. Therefore, verbally telling a front desk staff member is not a sufficient way of canceling or modifying your membership.
What do I do if I am running late?
Please call if you are running a few minutes late and we can reserve a spot for you depending on the class capacity. Clients will not be admitted to class if later than 15 minutes in our body, bounce, or mind classes, and not permitted to enter our rev, hammock or yoga classes more than 5 minutes after doors have closed.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, a pair of socks for body, sneakers for bounce and bottled water if you’d like. We provide mats and equipment (feel free to bring your own mat for Yoga), as well as lockers for your convenience. Socks are available for purchase at $14/pair and spin shoes are available for rent at $3/pair. Fresh filtered water and cups are available as well.
What do I wear?
Yoga pants, cropped pants, tanks, and shirts are all acceptable for body, mind and, yoga classes. Cropped pants or shorts are best for revolution classes. If you feel good moving, stretching and bending in it, wear it. Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing with the appropriate coverage throughout the class. Workout clothes out of date? Don’t let that stop you. DEFINE provides an entire retail line of workout clothing for purchase in the studio.

Why do we need socks?
How often can I take classes?
The DEFINE method is a sustainable approach to exercise. We balance your body with strengthening and stretching so you can take as many classes per week as you see fit. A good goal is 3-5 times a week. The focus on stretching each muscle we work keeps your body flexible and minimizes soreness. The DEFINE mind class is a great compliment to the DEFINE body class as it enhances the stretching and lengthening of the entire body.
Do I still need to do cardio in addition to DEFINE classes?
This depends on your personal goals. While the DEFINE body class is both strength and cardio based, you will not be “huffing and puffing” during the class. Since we spend a large portion of the class on the legs and gluteus, which are the biggest fat burners in your body, you will quickly see and feel those inches dropping even without cardio. If you enjoy a good cardio workout, we recommend supplimenting our body classes with our new revolution classes! (see revolution below for details)
